Why must you use AWeber if you’re serious about becoming an affiliate or email marketer? Because AWeber has become the industry standard for e-mail autoresponders in these categories. And having an e-mail autoresponder is the most important tool of an affiliate marketer, which is why they say “the money is in the list.”

Ease of Use

AWeber makes it incredibly easy for anyone to set up an email campaign, even if you’re a beginner. Their website is full of online videos and tutorials to help you get eveything set up. And the great part about it is, once you’ve gone through the initial work to set up your email campaign (which is very simple) you don’t have to visit it again unless you want to make changes. Each new person that joins your mailing list will automatically start receiving each email in your email campaign on a time interval that you configure.

Great Customer Service

A lot of internet companies seem to focus more on generating prospects and closing the deal and then when you run into problems and need to contact them they can be hard to get a hold of. One thing that suprised me about AWeber is their committment to reaching out to their customers and making it known that they are ready and willing to provide support or answer any questions you might have. Within a day of signing up for AWeber I received a phone call from a member of their support team asking me if I had any questions with setting up my email campaign. A few days letter I received a letter in the mail thanking me for my purchase and providing me with links to helpful resources on AWeber’s website This level of customer interaction and support is a rarity for online businesses and goes to show AWeber’s outstanding committment to customer service.

One of the best measures of AWeber’s ease of use and great online tutorials is the fact I didn’t have any questions for AWeber support when they called me. And I never had to contact them for assistance when setting up my account. Between the online videos and other tips and training, I was able to succesfully set up my email campaign myself in a matter of minutes.

With AWeber, you can expect to receive tips and tricks for:

How to build a subscriber list

How to encourage repeat traffic using email

What to write in your messages

Aweber Features:

eMail Newsletters

Publish and Sign up Forms for your website

Create an Auto responder

Manage Unlimited eMail Campaigns

Ready to use eMail Templates

Top Notch Customer Support

And Much more…

What kind of tips will you receive? Look to the right side of this page, the EMAIL MAKETING TIPS are actually sourced from AWeber and feed directly into my website via RSS.

Because I Use It

Why should you use AWeber? Because I use it. And no, I’m not some internet celebrity with a million followers that will go out and purchase a product because I advertise it. But because I have personally used it and benefited greatly from it. My mailing list for NateHines.net is completely driven by AWeber, sign up for the mailing list and see for yourself the series of emails I’ve set up entirely through AWeber to welcome you to NateHines.net and give you tips/advice regarding my site. If you like what you see, then sign up for AWeber’s $1 Trial Account and give it a try. I promise you won’t be disapointed.

Last week Amazon launched new functionality on their Site Strip, allowing Amazon Associates to share Amazon products with their followers on Twitter. This new functionality can be launched from any page within Amazon and creates a tweet for you regarding the product you’re currently viewing. Of course, like any affiliate program, if any of your followers happen to click on the link and buy a product, you receive a referral fee (up to 15% of the purchase at Amazon). Here’s the official email Amazon sent to all Amazon Associates last week:

From: Amazon.com Associates Program
Date: Wed, Nov 4, 2009 at 12:05 AM
Subject: Amazon Associates Now Integrates Directly with Twitter

Dear Associate,

Today we are excited to announce the launch of a new feature called Share on Twitter. You can access Share on Twitter from the Site Stripe and post to your Twitter account from Amazon detail pages in just two clicks.

The Share on Twitter feature is easy to use. Simply log in to your Amazon Associates account and then visit any detail page on Amazon.com. By clicking on the Share on Twitter button in the Site Stripe, a new window will open and an Amazon-generated message is pre populated in the ‘What are you doing?’ text area of your Twitter account (you may be asked to log in to your Twitter account). That message will include a shortened URL that already includes your Associates ID. You’ll have the option to edit this message or simply hit the ‘Update’ button to post to your Twitter account. When Twitter users click on the link in your post and make a qualifying sale, you’ll earn referral fees. That’s it.

For more information about how you can use social networks in connection with your Associates account, please visit our Social Media FAQ.

Also, did you know that you can stay connected with Amazon Associates by following us on Twitter, becoming a fan on Facebook and joining our group on Linkedin? We’ll post program announcements as well as top deals and promotions.

Please tell us what you think of our new Share on Twitter feature using hashtag ‘#AMZNSOT’ on Twitter or contact us via the contact form. We want to hear from you!

Sincerely,

The Amazon Associates Program

The Kindle Expirement

I decided to give it a try and see just how easy it was. Check out my Kindle tweet to the right in my Twitter widget. (Included below in case it’s no longer in my top 5 tweets).

“Check out ‘Kindle Wireless Reading Device (6″ Display, Global Wireless, Latest Generation)’ by Amazon.com http://bit.ly/LqSPh“

Turns out it’s just as easy as they claim. I clicked the “Share on Twitter” button and was asked for my Twitter credentials. After logging in I was taken directly to my Twitter homepage where the message above was waiting for me to click “update”.

Now only time will tell whether or not any of my 700 Twitter followers decide to purchase a Kindle. If they do, I could make up to $45. And if they don’t, it only cost me 30 seconds of my time. Why don’t you give it a shot? Becoming an Amazon Associate is completely free and easy to do. And who knows, maybe one of your followers will be looking for a Kindle (or one of the other thousand products Amazon offers).
